This didn't belong in the 'What did you see in the Gym today' thread.....

I was at the grocery and this poor man had on black sweatpants, white socks, black tennis shoes, a flannel shirt (tucked in the sweatpants) -- and the kicker, also wearing suspenders.

I once saw someone at K-Mart testing a toilet plunger on the floor. He couldn't get the damn thing off the floor...wonder if he decided it had adequate suction to warrant a purchase!

This is the basic style....the one that Walmart sells a $4.97 knockoff version that all the yahoos seem to love. I'll see if I can find the ones I have.

The fleece-lined I agree, but there's nothing wrong with getting rubber sandals wet...my prefered rain shoes are flip flops, they dry easy :)

We eat fairly healthy at my house. The processed products we buy are organic with ingredients I can read! My boys (7 and 5) are used to how we eat and don't ask to buy the usual crap targeted at kids.

In the summer, we rent a cottage for a week and I let the boys pick a few "sometimes foods" that we don't usually buy. At the check out, both dh and I looked at our cart in amazement at all the unfamiliar products...Eggo waffles, Kettle Creek potato chips, Koolaid Jammers. Very unlike the usual cart filled with whole grains, fruits, veggies, lean protein, and dairy! It felt very strange!

People who like them say they're comfortable. But I've tried them on, didn't think they were comfortable at all...my 4" heels are more comfy

And they seem to be a hazard for children, as those things get trapped in the electric stairs. I've heard all kind of horrible stories about it.
