How long do you wait between ea warm up set?

Just long enough to change the weights, record the weight of the set I just did and take a sip of water.

Just kidding. :yeahthat: to what smuggie says.
Probably about 30-120 seconds, moving towards the high end for the last warm up or so. Or if it's a big movement (ie. deads, squats)

So on your last warmup set is there a certain percentage of weight you are looking for so that you do not tax your working sets too much? I tend to be scared of this and go more conservative but wonder if I am cheating the effect of my warm ups.

My last warm up set is always a single. And unless I'm doing a supramax single, it's probably in the 90% range of my planned working weights.
So if I was going to be squatting 300, my last warm up would be 275x1. (92%)

I forgot to mention before that when I warm up for deadlifts I take longer rest periods.
