Hey Everbody,
Is there anyone just starting out with Eriks program like me? I have a couple questions regarding the meal plan? ie:
When it states 4 oz of chicken/turkey breast, how do i prepare it(baked, broiled, poached) Also do i drink the whey protein just mixed with water. One more question about the PWO carbs, any good ideas? It needs to be approx 200 cals, no more than 42gs of carbs?? Thanks

chicken can be prepared in any of those ways including bbq providing you arent adding extra cals like oil etc, unless that is that meal.
Shakes should be just protein. YOu can add sf/ff flavorings. I often make mine into 'ice cream' If you have a meall that has CC/protein, you can have that separate, blended etc.
Carbs..
wow ANYTHING low fat.. popcorn, oats, bread, bagels, cereal to name a few.. some 'treats' fit too, just watch the macros.

Baked, broiled is fine ...no fried.
Only water with protien powder (no milk).
Cereal or breads like cinnamon raisins is good for these. You want LOW fat and carbs.
I use double choc chip cereal and its 100 calories 20g carbs per 3/4 c so you could have 1.5 cups.
Or some of the bread has similar stats.
Some people use rice cakes or popcorn....I don't I need that extra "sweats" or "breads" that I don't other wise get on his plan.
Welcome aboard!

Hey Claire
Welcome!!
You can cook your chicken however you would like as long as you aren't adding calories to it. Sometimes I bake a bunch of it with spices or I cut it up into little pieces and do it on the stove with things like lemon pepper, or montreal chicken seasoning. You could also Grill it. Whatever you like best!
PWO carbs hmmm....Everyone is different but you could do bagels, rice cakes, AMYP has some great Post workout meals if you want really cool things. Erik has even done Fat free ice cream sandwiches LOL. As long as you keep it low fat you should be good :thumb:

I do that. marinate chickey in hot sauce for oh 30min, then pan 'fry' douse with more hot sauce. Lazy just cook immediately in it.
I used a really REALLY spicy hot sauce (ali and cindy, the one we all died trying when ali was here) on dan (ds) the other day who said nuthin' is spicey enough, lol, that boy was crying and told everyone i tried to kill him.
He had to temper the flavor with some ranch dressing.
