What does everyone eat for these?

I hate veggies. Hate hate hate. Eating them is worse than so much chicken. I'm eating fresh green beans, cucumber, spinach and carrots.
I can't think of any other veggie I would add to this. Yuck.

I eat tons also.

Brussels sprouts are my fave! I use a few squirts of fake butter spray and lots of salt on all my veggies.
Also like cauliflower cooked/mashed/blended w/ chicken broth-tastes a little like mashed taters.
Broccoli, mushrooms/onions, Love 'em.

I am really into raw zucchini right now. I had it in a salad at Cheesecake Factory. I like it. I like veggies. I also make veggie soup. That is more filling for me and nice for the winter. I eat alot more of the soup than just plain veggies. Oh, brocolli slaw is good too if you don't like alot of veggies.

What about zucchini sauteed with some mushrooms and onions? Yum. Also, I love adding sugar snap peas to my salad.

Geez, I eat butt loads of veggies. Most of them roasted.

Port mushrooms, green and red peppers, onions, summer squash, broc, cauliflower, celery, radishes, eggplant, cabbage, kale, collard greens, beans, snap peas, cauliflower, spinach, romaine...

The only veggie I've ever had that I dislike is okra.

I would imagine you'd find it tough to diet like this if you don't like veggies and chicken much.

If you're going to skip something, skip vegetables. I don't count them in your totals anyway.

Of course, it's healthier to eat them, but if you don't want to eat them, don't eat them. Note, that comment applies only to vegetables.

I like chicken. No problems eating it at all actually.

I'm trying with the veggies. Lots of green beans and cucumbers, but it's nice to know I can just skip them when completely sick of them :D

I probably did. It's not that I don't like chicken, it's just seems to be the only protein source I will eat, so I'm eating a lot of it.

Do you like lettuce?

I make chicken lettuce wraps all the time. You may like those just to have a change from plain chicken.

I actually don't :runaway:

But I really do appreciate all the ideas.

I will continue with the veggies at each time, simply b/c I'm picky about sticking to things exactly. Even if it's just green beans/spinach/cucumber or carrots ;)

I'm actually not minding the diet at all. And I like knowing now that I don't have to eat the veggies :p

Wow no lettuce either? Well even though I love veggies, I tend to stick to the same ones too. Broccolli, spinach, green beans. So at least you like a few, cause they sure to help when feeling hungry. ;)

I know, it's brutal. I don't even like the spinach, but force myself to eat it. Although I'm sure everyone else is quite happy I'm actually eating veggies :muahaha:

Are butternut squash and acorn squash in there too? I love them both- baked, mashed, with Splenda and maple extract. :yum:
They're higher in carbs than zucchini but way lower than yams, for instance. They're kind of "in between". Last time I had butternut squash for my carb portion, I ended up with this huuuuuge bowl!

I'm a bit of a veggie freak after 24 years of hating them! Some of my faves are: peppers (esp. the orange ones), broccoli (broccoli salad with white wine vinegar, splenda, and red onions), eggplant (YUM!), okra, squash (summer and spaghetti), cucumbers (marinated in sf balsamic vinaigrette dressing), romaine lettuce, mushrooms (grilled with some onions), fresh green beans (roasted with onion and garlic on high heat for 20 minutes), pizza, chocolate, peanut m&m's, cold stone ice cream...ha!

I love the full fat version (w/mayo, bacon, cheese, raisins, the works), so I came up with my own version. White wine vinegar is yummy, especially when sweetened with splenda! I also sometimes add sunflower kernels in addition to the red onion. It's a great dish. I make it in bulk, and then snack on it all week. And the best part is that virtually all your cals are from the broccoli!

And the cucmbers are divine! Their flavor goes great with the balsamic dressing.
