Amy’s Bread-less Peanut Butter Sandwich :yum:

Okay I have not lost my mind people. So with that being said- no need to make comments on it looking like it tastes like crap or looks like crap. Don’t hate until you participate.

Watch the videos and then make it yourself. :D

There really are no specific macros for this recipe since it all depends on what you have for that meal. But for example purposes I will post what I used-

1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
120c / 2.5g fat / 2g carbs/ 23g protein
2 tbsp of Powdered Peanut Butter www.bellplantation.com
54c / 2.8g fat / 3.7g carbs / 4.3g protein
1/3 of banana
35c / .2g fat / 10g carbs / .3g protein

TOTAL
209cal / 5.5g fat / 15.7g carbs / 27.6g protein
When I do it this way I still have room (macro wise) for rice cakes or some fruit by itself. :thumb:

Substitutions:

*You can always do the sugar free fruit spreads if you like.
*You can also use regular peanut butter. I only use the powdered PWO, to keep my fats low.

You're too cute.

What kind of PP are you using in the video?

By the way, I was amazed at the way you spread one scoop of protein powder across the entire surface of the tupperware. Very impressive.

What model scale is that? Does it have other features besides weighing? Looks high tech.

Protein Powder in the video is EAS Vanilla

The scale is:
Salter 1450
Nutri Weigh dietary
Computer Scale
food calorie counter
It does everything- you can even add foods to it. It will keep daily totals also. :thumb:

No not at all. I thought it was funny. I know my foods look crazy  But I promise they do taste good. Do they taste like the real thing? NO. But I would rather be the size I am and eat like this and save my cheats for real junk :hehe: instead of an extra few ounces of chicken.

But please do not think it was referring to anyone.

Amy does it again! I placed my order for powdered pb today, but I could probably use real and make this work instead of cc/pp/pb on occasion.

Thanks Amy! Keep 'em coming!!

Hey Amy! Your recipes looks :yum:!
I've never heard of peanut butter powder before. Do you mix it with water or something? Does it taste just like pb?

Yes you add water to it. It does not taste exactly like it- but I add a packet of spenda and it does the trick. IT is much lower in fat and calories. 2 Tbsp has 54 calories

Oh Gosh! I guess I should have been thanking you Amy! I saw this nice recipe on TIger's blog and I love it!!! Haven't tried it with PB2 but it is just heavenly with regular pnb. I added oatmeal to the protein powder-based "Bread" and it was just amazing!!! Anyway, just wanted to say thank you!

Hi! ooh I have been such a busy happy camper! I have yet another variation:) I tried this idea using jay robb egg white protein! It worked really well and I was totally depraved and put some nutella (I did count it!!!) on top - divine!!!

OK in terms of the oatmeal, I added 20-g oatmeal because that gave me the right amount of starchy carbs for my macros for that meal. I put the oats in my magic bullet blender (something else I learned about from you guys on here! another great find - thanks so much - you are all so helpful!!) and turned them into "flour" which I then combined with the pp and added the water to that mix.

My plan doesn't include any grains.... I think I love you Amy!

I am going to have to see it I have any little containers like that..

Question: my microwave doesn't have temps/% to choose from. I guess it is all "high." Should I nuke it for less time?

I need to remember to come in here more often. I tend to miss it since it became a "sub." But I'm getting better at finding it. :D
