Has anyone had great success with a strict diet and little to no ST or cardio? I have been able to get in some exercise, ST 2 x weekly, but with 2 little one it's tough.

Are you expecting? If not, you may want to post this question in the nutrition section intead of fitness and pregnancy.
But to answer this- I am sure that yes you could see results considering 90% of your results will most likely come from diet.
Doable...but for what goals? I'm assuming fat loss. You just have to create a deficit if you are wanting fat loss. It depends upon the person (how big you are...how lean you are, other factors) , but there will probably come a point where just diet is going to stop working. Your cals will get too low, and you wont' be able to create a big enough deficit. Unless you are willing to cut reeeeeallly slow.
There comes a point for me when diet alone just doesn't cut it. I'm little, and I need to increase activity (cardio) to create the deficit.
Another thought when you have little ones. Be as active as you can be. Don't sit...keep moving...throw in a set of push ups when you can...bound up the stairs...run to get the mail. There are another 15 hours a day where you can get activity in. :)

My kids have the entire upstairs to themselves, so I'm up and down the stairs a million times during the day which creates quite the deficit! Especially at night when, on some occasions, I'm up and down them 20 times trying to comfort my 8 month old who's teething! Great cardio!!

Ali, what's the most cardio you ever do for contest prep? How little are you? I 'think' I'm little (I competed at 111.5 lbs and 9.5% BF).
