You can always video yourself doing them and post them for a critique :thumb: I was amazed how little slight changes in form has helped me.

I would just have to get someone to do that. I'll have to see if I can sweet talk some one in to that!

I don't touch the floor on my RDL.

It seems to me the major difference is one you bend your knees more. Is that way off?

Good.
If you're doing an RDL properly (hips going back), you *can't* touch the floor.

I think you've seen me do this.
It just looked like the guy in the ExRx video was putting it back on the floor with the RDL...I don't like that vid.

I have. Your lower body technique is excellent (squats, deads, etc.)

Notice in this video he is simply bending over. The hips do not get pushed back.

this may sound dumb but what do you mean by hips beign pushed back?

Literally just that. You don't just bend over. You push your butt BACK.
A good teaching technique is to stand a little in front of a wall. With a neutral spine, push your butt back until it touches the wall. If you can, take a little step forward and repeat. You'll notice that to push your butt back you end up bending forward obviously.
Before you know it, you've just done a proper RDL.

Yup. My husband always forgets form on this exercise so I cue him to think of being an inverted triangle--flat back (well, tight arch), ass out, keep the bar close to your legs. It helps. :)
