Not that that helped a whole lot. You need a vid for that one.

BF = Body Fat (it's not an exercise, but it is often discussed)
135 X 4 X 6 means
weight X sets X reps
Erik has Noel demo'ing exercises on his site for clients.
You can just google or search youtube, and you'll probably come up with something.
There is this one, but i start with the ball closer to my butt.

What about when it's written like this:
3x8 w/120s rest
Is that 3 sets, 8 reps?
Romedoggy

You have to be really coordinated to do that one. Erik lists it in the Basic Primer at the end. What are you working your hamstrings, and bootie?

Yep, exactly :thumb:

Like how much is your max when lifting?

Like how much is your max when lifting?
well it can depend... it can be a one rep max, or your 10rep max at a certain weight...
basically just your personal best...
so for example, squats, you've been working on them and have been doing 3x5... you've been stuck at a weight of 135, never surpassed. then you go and get it for 140, you just had a PR, set a new personal record for that exercise.
does that make sense?

What are burpees?
Romedoggy
01-31-2008, 03:16 PM
Burpee- Plyometrics Exercising Instructions
Start by standing tall and then drop to your hands and end up in push-up form (this may take some practice before you try this at 100% intensity). Stand up as quickly as you can and repeat this process for as many as your coach would like you to do. This sports specific exercise would be great for sports like rugby, or football where you are constantly on the ground and back up again.

Icdoodle,
FYI- You can look-up exercises at Bobybuilding.com. It's pretty sweet because it has a definition, explains what muscle group your using and why, and then shows a video.

What are burpees?
I hated these at LSU track practice. They wear you out, but are very effective! once you have done a burpee you probably won't forget how to do it.
