I LOVE putting my protein in the microwave to make the little cakes...I love making chocolate with nat pb. but I am wondering if anyone came across any nice decadent flavors (like cheesecake maybe?) and if they taste any good and if their macros are decent. Cheers!

Ask Ana...she knows everything about PP and has tried every single flavour in existence, I think.
You should SEE her collection

Okay, you can give me a taste and if I like it I will buy it from you.
I have only ever used Ultimate Nutrition: vanilla, choc, rocky road and choc mint, all good. I'm SO FREAKIN anal that I won't use anything else cuz the macros are a teeny tiny bit different
At least that's when I worked with Erik, cuz I knew he made my plan with the PP macros I gave him at the beginning

What's the brand name of the graham cracker one?
ETA: found it on bb.com! VPX. Maybe I will order some online after I make more of a dent in what I currently have...or not ;)

Where do you normally get your PP from?
In store:
-Popeye's
-Sport Nutrition Depot
-GNC (rarely)
-FNC (at the Premier gym)
-Nutrition house
Online:
-www.bodybuilding.com (haven't used it yet, but would like to.)
The price trade-offs are there for the two online stores since one is US (bb) and the other is Canadian...what you save in product price, you lose out in shipping cost. But they have more selection at least.

I've ordered from SND online before, but now I actually have one fairly close to me
GNC's prices are nuts, but I've shopped there before, simply for convenience.

I was starting to salivate over this graham cracker pp and suddenly, not so much...
That is the one you gave me to taste right Cindy? BLECH. Even Erik didn't care for that one and he eats anything
...and this clinched any lingering thoughts I had about trying it anyway because it's graham cracker flavored.

It's actually quite good. Don't listen to Noel she eats that gross metabolic chocolate flavour which makes me want to toss my cookies. What makes her taste test expert anyway? :p
She's a self professed baker with no spatulas until she met me, carry on ppl :happy05:
ETA she's the best baker in the world I will give her that, but she stirs with a spoon.

Sure you are, I use a spatula when baking though cuz it keeps me from eating half the batter. :lol3:

I've got the graham cracker and I  it in my cc/pp/pb. Even more so now that Ana suggested adding cocoa powder. Double :yum:
Drinking it by itself, it's very sweet, but I still have it just as a shake on occasion. Right now I'm hooked on PVL Cafe Mocha (thanks to Ana and Kelster). It's :yum:

Ah sorry, I hate the chocolate, I do love the banana and the vanilla.
I love the spatula thing as much as I love the fact that I had to taste something that tasted "not right" to you, yet you'd never made it before :funny:
Yeah, I'm a tard

Honostly, I like GNC's Amplify. I have tried others and that is my fave. I know they are expensive but I get stuff half price because my gym has a deal with them. Alot of times the guy gives me a free bucket because I shop there so much.

I found VPX zero carb on www.affordablesupplements.com. You can get a 2lb tub, unlike bb.com which only had the big size. If anyone (Ana, Ali?) wants to go in on a big order to split the shipping costs, I can place an order...let me know! I'd like to try this graham cracker pp and wouldn't dare ask Ana for a taste since I know what the answer will be ;)
Noel, check this out: I threw away half a large tub of VPX Graham Cracker last year- during contest prep of all times! You'd think ANYthing sweet would taste like heaven then. Not this PP though. I absolutely could not stomach it- maybe because it was too sweet? And trust me, I can handle sweet.
Sorry, Ana. :lol3:

There is a muscle milk Creme Brulee flavor...mmm...sounds amazing! I so wanna try it! And I would also like to try the Optimum Nutrition Rocky Road flavor (either the whey blend or casein protein powder.)

I want to use the pumpkin pie stuff and blend it with cottage cheese to get it smooth. I hope it will taste like the filling of the pumpkin pie which I have not eaten in so long ;)
