View Full Version : I'm no longer a push press virgin.
I've worked out for a few years and never done a push press. After doing a military press routine, I was feeling a little crazy so I said what the heck, I'll do a push press. Just one, to see if I could do one. I was tired and it was a little too much weight, so technically, I didn't do one, but I tried. That counts doesn't it?:brava:

I did db push press for the first time last week and it felt good but definately need to work on form.
I had never heard of push presses before working with Erik! I love that exercise- makes you feel so strong, doesn't it? And you can push some heavy weights, too. ;)

Next time, start with push pressing right away, so you're not fatigued.
It will take some getting used to. That much weight over my head kind of makes me nervous. I'll be the first to say I know nothing about form on this one.

One of my favorites too!!
Mine too! :D
Since I was doing push presses today, (1st time doing sets), I tried the body weight push press I didn't get last week. It went up no problem. :shakeithappy: A new PR on my second push press attempt.
