I'm learning to cook. :) For my friends and family.
Many of them are cheesecake fans. Would you help me with a good recipe?
It has to be tasty. (You know, as a novice, I'm desperate to keep the credibility.)
If it's healthy, so much the better! :p
It doesn't have to be ultra low-fat, sugar-free, or 100% clean.
Just something I can make for my guests, so that they wouldn't suggest that they bring the cheesecake with them next time.
Edit: I now realize that when cooking for others, I might have to turn to a conventional cookbook.
I'm just looking for something delicious and wholesome.
I always feel like it's a miracle when someone likes the food I made for myself. :)
And they say they are shocked to find that it is edible, and even tasty. (To me it is yummy.)
I guess I can't expect "normal" people to like my food, once they know it is lowfat / made with "fake sugar" or is just plain "healthy".
It's just like with wine: I don't drink, so if I have to buy wine, I always have to ask someone who does for advice.
If I don't eat "normal food", I mightl have to turn to someone who does.
Do any of you, guys, ever feel this way when cooking for others?
I feel like as I am notorious for my "healthy" lifestyle, I might have to market my food as "it's good, I can't afford to have it". :funny:
