Movement?

When did you feel your baby's first movement?

The books say 16-20 weeks. I will be 18 weeks tomorrow and so far nothing. I am not worried, just impatient! :lol:

Every so often I stop and try to concentrate and see if I feel something but not yet....

my first about 18weeks. be active then lay down was most often when i'd felt it.

Much better these days. I am still taking medicine in the morning (4am), but just 3 weeks ago I was taking 3 a day and still barfin up my guts all the time so that is much improved. I am going to try to eliminate the med all together this weekend, I tried about a week ago and it did not go so well :lol:

I was probably around 15-16 weeks.

You should be able to feel them very soon... what will feel like little flutters or bubbles in your belly.

Most people also tend to feel movements earlier in subsequent pregnancies as they know what to expect and recognize those little movements usually sooner.

I feel it more at night...the fluttering.

Is this your first? It might take longer to feel your first baby. With my first, I didn't really start noticing any movement until about 21-22 weeks, but with my second, it was MUCH sooner (even sooner then when we're "supposed" to feel movement). Just be patient; pretty soon your little one will be keeping you up at night with all the acrobatics!
