I hit stage one when I went to Vegas in August and had some rejection and also seeing pics from my sisters visit in the summer.

Stage two was made on that plane ride back that something had to give.

I am now in Stage 3 and look forward to getting to stage 4.

I hope this helps someone out there like it helped me.

that's interesting. I liked this part:
The failure: "I really want that candy bar. And hey, I deserve it anyway. Didn't miss a workout all week. Plus, chocolate has antioxidants, right?"

The phoenix: "I can't believe I'm even thinking of ruining my diet. I'm stronger than this, goddammit! This is bullshit, and I will not be this weak! I won't put myself in the same category as those front-butted fucks who ride electric scooters around Wal-Mart!"

it's pretty radical. I was wondering what Erik would say about it.

I have read many of his articles and the V-diet is drastic....but gets results....I have no reason to use those kind of drastic measures.

I am not paying him I am paying Erik so I follow Erik's plan however the physcological things he post is dead on.

Especially the rationalization posts and toxic people post.

Those are the type of things people will either read and get a wake up call or continue keeping their head in the sand and ignoring things they have rationalized as being ok in the past.

One example. I have almost lost 60lbs so I could easily rationalize that I DESERVE an all day cheat. Instead I am rewarding myself with a massage a non food related reward.

Of course this is all just my opinion.

Radical, how so? I'd just like to know what you think is radical about it?

I didn't see where you were talking about the diet, I thought you were referring to the article. But I cannot find the diet?

The diet is a link where you actually click on the word diet that's embedded in his article. From what I can tell it's Protein drinks,EFA's,fiber, some supplements (like fat burners etc.). You get to eat real food one a week, so to me that's pretty radical (but I'm all about my next meal)

BTW- 60lbs is fantastic! You deserve a massage from a young hot canana boy while sipping on your fav PP :). You are my new motivation!

The V-Diet thing doesn't look scary at all to me...the psychology stuff does though. It just came off really harsh and negative to me...as well as looking like stuff I've broken out of as I've gotten more successful in this.
