Just wondering who had tried PMSF and what your results were...
How low did you know to go calorie-wise?

Lyle's book outlines exactly how to set up your calories.

If you're going to do a PSMF, you NEED to get the book.
That being said, I've done a couple runs of it and had tremendous success!

Don't expect to have much energy or desire to workout while you're PSMFing.

No energy that sucks, but what were your results like ?
Wonder if it's worth it

Good. But keep in mind you lose water weight (a few lbs at least), and gain that water weight back with the addition of carbs.
The first few pounds are water loss/glycogen loss, but the rest are fat. If you move back to normal eating as per the book when you're done, you shouldn't gain back fat, just the 2 or 3 pounds of water lost in the beginning.
I've just finished 3 weeks of it, and I've lost an average of 3# a week.

This would depend on what one considers 'normal eating'.
The book does give the option of getting fat again.

I agree...get the book and read about how to set up your calories, protein, free meals and refeeds. Also, it outlines how to work out- if you are even going to.
I did it for 2 weeks with 2 refeeds and 2 free meals. I lost 3 pounds of fat in those 2 weeks, which for me was HUGE (I am only 4'10).
I was ok the first week, but it was harder the second week in terms of energy and difficulty sticking to the diet.
