Is watermelon ok? I have always heard it is one of the worst fruits because of the carbs-per fitday 10 carbs in a cup. That doesnt really sound that bad???

Good question..I know it is good for fiber but I also know it is high in sugar as well. I love watermelon

I don't give a dayum, I'm eating it all summer long! I adore watermelon. I count the long winter days till I can buy them at the store again. I currently have a 25 lb one in my fridge (and yes I weighed it because I'm strange like that!)

Calories and carbs?? I figure maybe the diuretic effect cancels all of them out?

so a pound of watermelon (just the part you eat) and less than 150 cals and 34 carbs. considering how it is unavailable most of the year - why not? a pound of watermelon is a hell of a lot of watermelon.

my vote = eat up

Yesterday I had 1 1/2 cups of watermelon before my workout, and the same after with my protein shake. Yum yum. With seasonal fruits and veggies I eat them when they are at their best. Lookout peaches!

I'm having a bad day and I think I just ate a pound of watermellon :dry: Well at least it wasn't a bag of chips :clap:

For my Memorial day party, we are spiking our watermelon...but that really has nothing to do with this topic :p But it's good!
