...and by 'love' she means 'love/hate'. :funny:

I use lil 25 lb DBs. :wavesad: I did these today and at least they felt the best yet strength and control wise.

Did them today as well. I love them. My fear is that the db will go flying out of my hand across the room.

Have you gone up in weight with them?

I went from 25lbs,climbed to 35 and down/up depending. One of my shoulders is being fussy so i've backed down this week (i see ART doc tomorrow)

The movement look fun, but I'd be scared as hell to actually use a dumbbell with it LOL

I almost did these today. I hate side lateral raises, which is what's in my rouine now. Would these be a good swap? It's the last exercise of the day.

WHEEEEEEEEE!! I did a set of these today to see if I like them, and they are much better than side lat raises, for me anyway. I just have to make sure my kid's not in the room when I do them, otherwise a) I might bonk him in the head and b) he might try to do them, too, and bonk me in the shin or something.

Well, I'll let you know when I do 3 sets of them at the end of a workout :p

But I have to say - I feel like less of a weenie doing something you all are doing LOL

Just focus on using your arm and not completely relying on your legs to sling the weight up.

Yeah these things are no joke I love them makes you feel stong. I did them last time with 15's and I'm a sure I could have gone alot more. I can't even do 5's on regular lateral raises really it hurts my joint more.

I always feel like a weenie in the gym when im trying these, because I forget how to do them correctly, even though Ive seen that vid of Noel. I feel like Im cheating by throwing them up, when in fact im suppose to just raise my arms laterally using my shoulders right? OK off to watch it again...

You will be able to do more weight because yes, you are using momentum, but really focus on using your shoulder and then lower it slowly (as you can  )

You can't really lower it slowly.

It's a whole body shoulder movement basically - as much of an oxymoron as that might sound.

I just tried these yesterday for the first time. I LOVE them! I could only use 20's but man am I feeling them today.

I got a few strange looks and almost took one guy out who wasn't paying attention and walked a little too close  but other then that they where great! I'm pretty sure I was doing them correctly but I want to watch the video again to make sure!
