I just made this and it turned out really well. Very tasty.

Homemade Grapenuts

3 cups Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 cup wheat germ
1 cup Splenda brown sugar (you could use a little less)
2 cup of buttermilk or sourmilk or you can sour soymilk with lemon juice
1 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt

Combine all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix until smooth. Grease 2
large cookie sheets. Spread the mixture over the two sheets. Bake at 250
degrees for 20 to 30 min. until golden brown. While still warm, crumble by
grating on a large - holed cheese grater or in a food processor. For a more crunchy texture, bake crumbled pieces for another 10-15 minutes.

When cool store.
Add rasins or nuts for variation.
