I'm too lazy to find the "ditto" smiley. So I'm just gonna say, yeah me too on the BSN Banana Nut bread. I actually don't like the banana creme BSN flavor, but I LOOOVE the banana nut bread.
I wasn't able to find PVL PB choc in any stores, so I picked up the Dymatize Butter toffee kind. I'll have to order PVL online. Now I just have to ask Erik how much of the Dymatize I can eat :)

That's too funny. I also really like Choc coconut, but banana nut is my all time favorite. I have cinnamon roll, but I don't really like it that much at all either. For that reason, I have a ton left, but I am running out of Ban Nut and choc coconut. I tried making the loaf with it, but the strange taste was still there.
I've also tried Vanilla...it's good. Chocolate Fudge is gross....Banana creme is lame compared to Banana nut..

Scitec proteins are my favourite. I eat Protein delite chocolate PWO, and 100% whey when I need it. Vanilla berry blast, raspberry yoghurt, chocolate mocha, banana are all really tasty. They make thick shakes which I like, hate that thin consistency, and you can eat the Protein delite with a spoon like a pudding :cheat:

I ordered some PP from bodybuilding.com and when it got here, I couldn't get it down, it was that bad. I wrote them an email saying I didn't like the taste, and they gave me instore credit. All I had to pay was the shipping.
So next time you order PP, check out the site and remember you can return it! :-)

I know Erik said we could only pick one, but I think I have favorites for different reasons.
Baking/cooking/microwaving: Lean Dessert Protein
Meal Replacement: Syntha-6
Best anytime to drink: Oryx Vanilla Goat Whey.
I have to say I really dig ON and Syntrax Chocolate Truffle, too - love the isolate PWO, but Goat Whey wins over all them. :)
Here's the old thread on vanilla PP's- looks like BSN, Syntrax5 and BSN win:

I didn't reorder PVL, and instead decided to go with Met RX's Peanut Butter Cup. I've heard nothing but awesome things about it, and for the volume, it was much cheaper than PVL. Don't get me wrong, I liked PVL's, but I wasn't a raving fanatic for it by any means. :ban:

What is everyone's favorite chocolate protein powder? I LOVE my LDP chocolate fudge, but it does have more carbs and fat than I would like for PWO. It's been a long time since I've had ON choc, but it was ok. Syntrax nectar chocolate truffle was yummy, albeit a little fake.

BSN is good-- pretty much all flavors.
ON Casein I like a lot also... in their chocolate supreme flavor.
Again the Dymatize 12hr Elite ;)
And thats because its nice and thick!
OK girl I got my Dymatize Elite 12 Hr and weeeeeeeeeeeeell... do NOT like it. :ban: I only tried the Rich Vanilla and it doesn't taste like much of anything; also, it kinda broke when I made it into a crepe. BSN Whipped Vanilla kills it hands-down when it comes to the true vanilla flavor and consistency. Funny how people's tastes differ!
So now I have 4.4 lbs of PP I don't like; and I'm afraid to try the Chocolate and Banana-Nut- the smell of both didn't seem as good as BSN. :help:

i've whittled my arsenal down to just Champion Cookies and Cream for PWO and BSN Whipped Vanilla for the M6 "cake" with PB.
At some point pp ceased to be a treat and just became functional routine. Like manicures.

an update on the MHP protein if you let it sit longer it is very :yummy: just mixed it still has a powder taste. I mix it about 30 min before I need it. But I'm scared to bake it.
I might want to buy it off of you :shhh:
Meechel already texted me about it... I guess you two could fight for it!
I tried the other two flavors and prefer BSN over Dymatize for all of them.

So, after re-reading this entire thread, I still have no answers.
BSN Lean Dessert just changed their ingredients on the Chocolate Fudge Pudding from protein all coming from milk to being milk and soy
Makes me so mad! Nothing I've tried so far bakes like LDP and topped with pb, you can't beat it. I've tried Dymatize and thought it was  Wondered if Champion bakes well (we have vanilla and chocolate at Vitamin Shoppe).
Can anyone tell me of a good protein powder that bakes well (will make the protein "cake" in the microwave, or crepes, or whatnot), tastes good and is thick?

I must be :ruloco: because I like Dymatize...cafe mocha and chocolate. BUtter toffee is okay but a little too sweet for me
I also like ON but we don't have the cool stuff here like you guys in the states have :ban: And they are a little thin.
The Dymatize actually makes a good lava cake in the microwave, imo (outside cooked, soft and gooey in the middle),
Gaspari Myofusion, Biotest Metabolic Drive- both very thick, and make excellent "cakes"

Beverly UMP bakes extremely well. Beverly Muscle Provider also bakes well and the chocolate flavor is actually too thick for me, but it does make good "brownies." Of course everyone has a different definition of "tastes good" so you just have to try it yourself to know for sure!
And for anyone trying to avoid sucralose, I gotta give a recommend for Revolutionary Nutrition Bionic Whey. It's not thick (for those who like thick), but it mixes extremely well and tastes great for a stevia-flavored PP. Pina Colada . . mmmmmm.

I imagine there's no such thing as a non-dairy, non-soy pp that "bakes" well...

I've heard that about the UMP, they're just expensive! I'm also interested in seeing if I can find a non-artificial flavor, natural protein that fits this bill (thick, bakes well)

I just bought the Nectar Lemonade flavor today. Fortunately the supplement shop here allows you to sample them before buying and i liked that one out of all the other fruit flavored ones. Hopefully, i'll still like in the weeks to come, i get tired of a flavor very easily.
I'm having a hard time finding a protein powder that doesnt make my stomach turn. They literally make me sick now, so thought i'd quit chocolate for a while.

Wow You are lucky!! Sounds like a great store. Mine doesn't and I have quite a few unused containers of pp that I just can't stand. I wish that more of the companies offered trial packets.
A natural pp I really like is Revolutionary Nutrition (http://www.revolutionarynutrition.com/index.cfm). Their products are stevia-sweetened. They have three products I really like. Their pp is called Bionic Edge Whey. They also blend it with oats, flax, CLA, calcium, and some other minerals, etc. and sell it as a female meal replacement shake (very filling), and I am very lazy (mea culpa) they sell a kit so you can make protein bars by mixing their pp with your choice of nut butter. If you email or call him, he's good about demo'ing his products, you can get him to mail you some travel packs.

I honestly don't think any of them are that great with just water added. Adding a few of my own ingredients (like extracts) can make most any old protein powder taste like an indulgence.
My pick is Jay Robb whey protein powder because it contains no artificial sweeteners, has few ingredients and is the most natural one I have found. I still need to doctor it up to make it good. Unfortunately it is so expensive I can't use it on a daily basis.

BSN Lean Dessert is excellent with just water added. I've made it into a thick 'pudding'-like texture and eaten it with a spoon. :yum:

It's bad enough i dont want to drink the ones i do like. I'd rather eat my cals.
If i had to gulp something down, i'd refuse to drink it. Especially when dieting/cals are so limited.. Im not drinking something i dont like.

The point I'm saying is if you don't want to drink it cause you don't like it or have to doctor it up to make it taste good to you in any way find another source of protein like cottage cheese, chicken, egg whites etc..... The point of a pp is to get extra protein in faster then cooking/eating another source. So why should you make what to last even if your dieting in a PWO situation you have carbs too and even in my case I still get almonds or cheese with it. Savor that kind of stuff
And anything will taste good once you have had Isopure. After a week of drinking that it didn't bother me one bit. But that week was hard to get it down. Eriks words Suck it up Buttercup! Comes to mind. I've even had some nasty MHP stuff. Tasted like chemicals but you get used to it after a while. Same thing goes for food you may not like it at first but your taste buds get used to things

It's hard to pick just one...
Probolic SR Chocolate - I have used for quite some time now (mixed w/other pp to make my bedtime pudding or mixed w/coffee for mocha shake is very good!)
but...
Champion Cookies and Cream and Whey Gourmet PB Choc is awesome blended with cottage cheese and frozen to make my ice cream (that I eat everyday!)
and just got Muscle Gauge Cake Batter and it's pretty good too (usually mixed with one of the others)
