How many cans of tuna do ya'll go through in a week?
Because of the Mercury issues, is there any truth to limiting your canned tuna to 2 cans per week?
What about those on T's plans? How much tuna does he have ya'll eating?
And what about issues w/ mercury in fish oil pills?
thoughts, comments, suggestions

I go through zero. I hate tuna.
And Erik doesn't make people eat stuff they dislike, so I never had tuna in my plan at all.

Canned light tuna is fine.
Fish oil, as far as I know, is fine.

pharmaceutical grade fish oil is the way to go. with others, you are risking toxicity.

and canned light tuna still has a risk, although less than albacore canned tuna. I personally don't eat canned tuna more than once every month or so, but I do eat canned alaskan salmon a couple of times a week.

I like canned tuna, I just try to limit it to 2 cans per week.
where do you buy pharmaceutical grade fish oil?
I heard that nordic nature brand has tested consistently for mecury and passes everytime, whereas other brands vary too much.

we order ours from Nutriwest - their complete hi-potency omega 3 oil.
I don't know what store brands are pharmaceutical though.

There have been studies done on various fish oil brands, and pharmaceutical grade came out exactly the same as regular brands in terms of mercury content. Its not worth the extra $$, IMO.

I've had up to 3 cans a day at times (not every day), and have at least one can per workday, and I'm not dead yet
Oh, and supposedly I have 6 fish oil caps per day. But my days are really messed up, so sometimes it works out to 3 or 9 in a 24hr period. Also, still not dead.
