Sporadically for about 4 years, but have gotten much smarter about it over the past year

4-6 times/wk VERY consistently for 2 yrs.
2-3 times/wk inconsistently and on too few calories for the previous 6 yrs.

That's okay, you're doing it. We all had to begin at some point.

4 years for me.

Instead of years or months, I am in the weeks. 2 to be specific.

Awesome! Welcome to lifting! It's so much fun and empowering!

I've been lifting since I was about 17 or so. I'm 33.
I've had a few breaks (grad school and a back issue), but I've been mostly consistent.

I love it and would do it over cardio ANY DAY.

I've been lifting since I was 13, and I am 32...so, 19 years (wow!). I remember like it was yesterday. I was big into softball and basketball in high school, and my dad bought me a Weider bench set for my 13th birthday. It was the best present ever!!

I'm with ya...I'd much rather pump some iron than be bored to tears on a cardio machine.:dumbbells:

I've been lifting for about 1.5 yrs. I'm relatively new but it felt so natural and was able to pick it up really quickly. I know I will lift for the rest of my life!

About 2 years. I wish I would have picked it up a lot sooner!

4 years on/off. The last year I became more serious and started training smarter instead of harder.
