I have a countdown on my watch, so I can just run until I hear the beep. That's what I normally do.

However, where I am running now, I know that it takes me about 20 seconds end to end, so I don't bother with the watch.

I use a stop watch, but I hold it in my hand instead of wearing it on my wrist.
It seems to take less time to glance at it when it's not on my wrist.

If I used landmarks for my timing I would be all screwed up. I know I don't go the same speed or cover the same distance every time. I also don't run in the same area each time.

I think a watch with a beeper would be great.

The other day I had to do my HIIT outside from 8.15 pm on. Needless to say, it got dark and I couldn't see the dial on my watch so I had to keep pressing the light during my sprints! :ruloco: My $7 sports watch doesn't have a beeper.
