Most of you know I am officially pregnant. This was a surprise but I have not had time to adjust and am making the best of it. I was just on such a great weight loss roll. I worry that I will NEVER get thin. But here I am.
Felt absolutely horrid for the past 2-3 weeks and am just now starting to feel human. Hope to get back in the gym tomorrow and eat better. I have only been able to tolerate bread, cracker, and icecream. Which is a far cry from my program diet. I feel bloated and huge already. DAM CARBS
But as I say hoping to get off to a better start tomorrow. I am still not 100% but I am about 75%.

Congrats! I'm due a couple weeks after you.
As long as you keep working out and eating healthy you should be able to snap right back after pregnancy and continue your weight loss roll.
Try and enjoy it. I wish I did my first time through.

Thanks everyone.
Yes 2009.
As for eating right and working out. Both a problem. Almost all protein makes me sick, I only like to eat carbs at this point. My body sure is feeling it. I am better but still not feeling good.
I had a cardiology consult because I was c/o shortness of breath with minimal activity. This is not usually the case. I am very fit. Well everything turned out normal until yesterday. They put me on the treadmill. When they hooked me up my HR was 105! I was not nervous. My usual walking around HR is 70's and 60's at rest. I of course got very sob with minimal walking and my heart rate went to high for the activity I was doing. This is not at all my norm.
So I have the diagnosis of inappropirately high heart rate in response to exercise. GREAT! I can work out just not at high intensity. THis explains why I have not been feeling so good and the sob all the time.
It should get better in the second trimester but will return in the third and I may need meds if my heart rate doesn't stay down.
Isn't that great. Thats what I get for being a fit working person.

Ok I am back from the depths of the first trimester and looking forward to getting back into the gym much stronger. I am now feeling better. Have delt with the fact that I AM pregnant and am moving forward trying not to become a complete fat ass by the end of my pregnancy.
Looking forward to my new program starting on Monday.

Glad to hear you are reaching acceptance. I had an unexpected inconvenient, blessing of a pregnancy with my first. I wish I'd tried to enjoy it more.
I'm no super fitness queen and my first pregnancy took a lot out of me. I quit everything but walking by 6 months because my body wasn't handling it well. To give you hope... I snapped back to pre-preg weight in 6-8 weeks, and i think I gained 26lbs. All gone... all baby and the fat the baby needed! Its hard to believe but there is hope that you can snap back quickly. I stepped on stage for the first time 1.5 years after having a baby.
You can reach your goals too! Good luck in the rest of your pregnancy. :)
