ah leg training....here is my methodology:

5. NO squats. NONE. Figure girls have no business squatting for the most point- so says Charles Glass who is notorious for his knowledge of training. I do sumo squats or plie squats to tighten my inner glute...but NO squats. Makes you blocky and no figure girl wants to be blocky- you want to remain lean and tight.

What kind of retarded nonsense is this?

In addition to the obvious retardedness ...

Yes, lean and tigh is the antithesis to blocky. What?

Now don't heart your head over other people's ignorance. I just had a whole discussion on another board trying to show someone why the smith squat is not good and they are better off free squatting. Some peeps will never learn.

:wth: People never cease to amaze me. Even before I started working with Erik way back in the day I knew that the best way to better legs and a better arse was going to include squats. Where do people come up with this stuff???

my butt has went from big ass blob to somewhat shapely (no where near done yet) but I contribute that to my squats and lunges etc.

I like squatting and it is funny because I think I squat more then 75% of the men in my gym :hehe:

You do. what is sad is the squat rack at our gym is always available. I don't complain because with 4 powerlifters we hog it. :hehe:

Yes. Those are your two choices - lean & tight or blocky. Pick one.

There are so many guys at my gym on the 'how to look like a flower bouquet' program. Only train the mirror muscles e.g chest, shoulders, chest, bi's, chest and did I mention chest?

My last trainer used to fly to Los Angeles twice a month to train legs with Charles Glass during prep for the O. Now that I think of it, I don't remember seeing any squats on her DVD (there's a whole section on it with the leg training session).
Oh... correction: there are some sumo squats done on the Smith!
