Okay I posted this at :o2: but thought (thanks for the response Sara!) more responses over here.

Does anyone know if there is an interaction between ephedrine and hypothyroid. I read that being hypo may cause you to more sensitive to stimulanats but am not sure if that is true?

Is anyone else hypo and taking EC?

That's a great question! I've been leery of taking EC or anything else until I determine what, if anything, if wrong with my metabolism because I was worried about doing further damage to it. I look forward to the answer!

Im hypothyroid but dont use any of those products. It seems the product on it;s own can cause rapid heart rate, which related to thyroid, would be more important to avoid IF your hyPERthyroid or in hyper state. Hashi's somethings does have those swings/

Here is the result of some google searches. But for the best infor, ask your dr or pharmacist.

Don't take it.

Any type of thermo can cause adrenal upset, and people who are hypo are apt to have more adrenal issues.

Don't use it. It can also cause your thyroid to stop working entirely. Same reason why using too much synthroid, any more than you actually NEED, can make your thyroid stop working. It can really damage you and make your condition worse.
