What brands would y'all recommend? As you can see by my avatar, I'm one step ahead of Casper (the friendly ghost). I'm supposed to go to the pool this weekend and I'm afraid the glare from my legs might blind some poor unsuspecting person.
Thanks for the help!
I use Loreal Bronzing lotion....love it!

I'm a redhead, very pale, and I feel your pain. I have been using Jergen's Natural Glow lotion, the one for fair skin tones. I use it on my whole body and on my face too. I put in on every night before I go to bed and it has given my a nice bit of color.
It takes a couple days to really start showing and it's not too much, not to orangey, it doesn't lool fake at all. I've been happy with it, plus it's lotion too so it keeps my skin soft at the same time. Helps me save a step so that's a bonus.
I've tried regular self tanners before but I think this looks more natural on me and I am pleased with how it appears.

Neutrogena Sunless Tanning Foam. I get the kind WITHOUT the instant bronzer because the bronzer tends to rub off onto clothing. I have tried many sunless tanning products and this one works the best for me. It is very easy to apply and dries quickly. I haven't had any problems with uneven results (like around knees or elbows or ankles) and it doesn't have that "orange" fake tan color.
This looks like an interesting site for some consumer reviews:

Loreal Sublime Bronze for everything but my face - I use the dark, you might want to start with the medium. This stuff gives a really nice natural brown look -not copper or orange at all. But it is tinted, so don't wear white.
On my face everyday for moisturizer I use Neutrogena Build-A-Tan. Makes your skin really nice, and actually ends up being cheaper than most facial moisturizers.

I alternate between Fake Bake™ and Sun Ultra Dark™. They work really well for me, last a long time, don't smell *too* bad, and have a green base as opposed to the usual orange one so I don't look like an Oompa Loompa.

i started using Pro Tan Sunny Day. it's not the competition stuff. it doesn't smell as bad as the Loreal and it doesn't have the bronzer so you won't sweat it off. love it so far.

I have tried of bunch of different brands and I am liking the Jergen's the best lately. The best part about it is that it doesn't leave you smelling like you just put it on.

I just spent the last day smelling every tanning lotion in the store. I had used a bunch..jergens, etc, but they all smell really bad I think. And the streaks, etc. Dove Energy Glow smells good and you can put it on before work and it dries super fast. This is my favorite BY far!!!

i tried loreal sublime glow daily moisturizer, it gives you a slight tanned color after 2-3 days, but it does have the smell of a self tanner too.
