So I've finally made it to a refeed, but I find myself with a dilemma. You see... I usually broke the diet and ate my weight in pizza before I ever got to a refeed. So I don't actually have any idea how many carbs I should be taking in.

I'm in category 2, and this is a 5 hour refeed. Any ideas on how the heck I'm supposed to calculate my carb intake? Is anything off limits (the booklet says to restrict fat intake to <50g)?

I'm actually not particularly hungry and can't imagine doing a lot of damage in the food deparment since Texas Double Whoppers are obviously not part of the plan, and that's really my only vice these days. :p

Doesn't the book give an outline based on LBM?

Unless I'm retarded, no. Keep in mind, it's entirely possible that I'm retarded and missed it. :p

There was something in the refeed instructions with regards to carbs about "eat as much as you can get away with without gaining significant bodyfat." And mention of 500-1000 calories. I distinctly remember the direction to keep fat intake low (<50g), but I don't remember any recommended method of calculating carb intake.

I just got in about 60g of carbs and feel like yakking.

Unless we're both retarded (which is quite possible  ) the book does not give you a specific outline on the number of carbs to eat.

So how did the first week go? Do you notice any changes?

It would seem that we're both retarded. That's cool, though... I can live with that.

First week is going well! You?

I'm cool with it too  It's my second day and so far so good. Took E/C for the first time today and I feel great

Have you started a journal?

I'm thinking of starting E/C. The C part I've definitely gotten down by now. :shutit:

I journal at IT. :)

E/C is a combination of ephedrine and caffine some people use for energy and appetite suppression

refeeds are a "nutritional tool" used by some people who are very lean or who are following very restrictive diets as a way to assist in restoring the body and mind so to speak - different than a cheat day

1. Ephedrine/caffeine

2. Periods of concentrated high carb/low fat eating.
