What is the difference between the two, not exactly how you do it i know that but do they work different muscles in the quads?

Front squats are very quad dominant. They also offer a nice challenge to the muscles of the upper back/thoracic extensors. Even still, a very deep front squat will also challenge the glutes as well.

I find becoming a good front squatter also has tremendous carryover to becoming a better back squatter, both in performance and improved technique in the latter.

I can say I am a case example of this...my back squat has gotten soooo much stronger since I started front squating, it helps my back squat so much that I have now started using a few sets of light front squats to warm up when I"m going to do back squats...for some reason it helps me get the right form for my back squats
