I must say that this one I had last night was H-E-L-L! And to think I only got a 30 second rest before starting it again. I though I was going to tear my program into tiny shreads! :tantrum:

I should add that- I guess mine are not circuits per say...they were more like finishers at the end of my training...which made it worse. It's like telling my muscles "we know you are tired from squats and walking lunges, etc. etc. but we are going to ignore that and torture you." :girly:

I've just added some body weight circuits to my program. Much better than mind-numbing SS cardio.
It is a love-hate relationship!
I made my husband do the circuit with me today. I think he called me some not so loving names. :lol:
I actually preferred BW circuits over 90 min depletion workouts. I dreaded those. :suicide:

I've got circuits on my new plan. They didn't look like much on paper, but boy oh boy was I wrong.... I was begging for mercy after the first round, and still had 2 to go.

I often have a point in my circuits where I'm thinking "this is too hard, I can't do this." But, I keep going and feel SO good when I'm done!

I sometimes have to rest during them, but I'm working on shortening that rest time every time I do them.

Could be anything from a bunch of bodyweight type exercises with high reps and short rests thrown together, to a combination of bodyweight and resistance based exercises again with higher reps and shorter rests, etc.
Basically some form of exercise done with as a cycle/circuit with metabolic parameters.

I bet you some of your circuts are close to some of the stuff we used to do for track at LSU. I'll have to compare yours to the years worth of workouts I have saved and let you know.
