Is there any difference from eating for a bulk for show vs bulking for playing sports. Is there more needs dietary wise to be more explosive vs more visual

I was asked to help out with my manger who is starting training young football players to help them get better at sport like a HIT or velocity style training and he wants me to help create a diet for them to get better at there specific sport. (he wants to branch out to baseball and soccer) .

Perhaps a higher carb intake? Carbs would be more readily available, (as energy) for those explosive w/o's, than pro or fats.

I was going to make the carbs higher. I'm sure it would be make a difference with what position that play too
