I was reading the posted full body routine in the stickies. I noticed that two of the exercises included lying tricep extensions and hammer curls. I always thought it was better to do compound exercises as opposed to isolation evercises. Or am I wrong, these are not isolation exercises. Just a little confused. Thanks.

Those are isolation exercises. A few sets of arms is fine. A whole day dedicated to biceps and or trcieps is another story.
