I'm not a big veggie fan, but I do like beans. I saw kidney beans and wax beans listed on the clean foods list. Are other beans such as black eyed peas, pinto beans, black beans, green beans good fibrous veggies?
BTW, what are wax beans? I couldn't find these in the store last night. Are they usually with the canned veggies?

You can use green beans and bean sprouts as fibrous vegetables.
"Real" beans, like blackeye beans, black beans, pintos, etc. are all starchy.

Wax beans are usually yellow, but there is a variety of purple out there too. You can get them canned or frozen when not in season.

Black beans, kidney beans, etc are a starchy carb, not a fibrous one.

Are the wax beans actually called wax beans on the package or do they possible have another name? I'll keep looking ;) .

what about lima beans? are they considered clean?thanks!
lima beans are more starchy- like peas and corn.
wax beans are just string beans, sometimes they say wax, sometimes not. Either yellow of green string beans. same difference.
