your body has hit maintenance or a plateu?
I know that if you don't eat enough, then your body stops lossing weight because it thinks you are starving it, so what is the difference and how can you tell?
Are there effective ways to combat plateaus? There are time periods where I don't see progress in 2 months unless I do something drastic, like a large calorie deficit (I know, that's bad).

I was told by this girl at my gym to take a week off and don't workout and eat more food that week and then start up my workout and eating plan again- I guess to shock my system. Do you agree?
