Do you find anything helps?

I am having a hard time even just walking after Monday's leg workout.

I've done some light cardio and I've been taking anti-inflammatories.

What else would help?
Hot bath? Cold bath?

Hot tub always helped me. If I'm at home, I throw in epsom salts.

Why are you so especially sore from Monday's workout?

Is it new?

Yup. New and heavy. And I hadn't worked out in 3+ weeks.

Thanks a lot, Cathie!

I seriously look like I don't know how to walk!

You could go in and do some high rep, very submaximal work for the sore muscles. That'll get some blood in the area and should help a bit with recovery (more nutrient delivery to, and waste removal from).

What about yoga?

Ow, STILL hurts like crazy. It's supposed to be another leg day, but lighter. Not sure if that would help or if it's a really bad idea...

Input?

Follow Erik's suggestion above.

If it's that bad still, postpone today's leg workout by a day or so.

I did today's workout and I actually feel much better having done it. It was a lighter day than Monday.

Thanks for all the responses, everyone!
