Have any of you fellow Canadians ordered protein from bodybuilding.com? Do you have to pay customs/duties? Did it take long to arrive?

Hey there! I order Muscle Gauge protein from BB.com. Doesn't take that long to get here, and I just have to pay shipping.

I'd suggest going for MG if you want the biggest bang for you buck :) (really cheap, sweetened with stevia, tastes really good depending on the flavor you get, and the amino acid profile is AWESOME)

Yeah, you gotta kind of catch it at the right time...

However, it's pretty cheap on Muscle&Strength, and they have tons of deals going on right now:

(The protein blend is pretty much all in stock)

Chocolate, chocolate mint, chocolate caramel, and cinnamon bun are all excellent. I hear cake batter and rocky road are good too...just never get the vanilla or strawberry flavor. Haven't tried the others.


Ebay sells BIG boxes pretty cheap too. Haven't found a better deal for 15 lbs. of whey. :blink:

what brands can you say you've used before to compare the flavors?


My all time favorite is the pvl whey gourmet PB chocolate.

Optimum Nutrition, Dymatize, AllTheWhey...I think it's pretty much on the same level as far as chocolate goes. I'm very picky about my protein powder, and have never found a good-tasting PB chocolate PP.

Im looking for something comprable to Whey Gourmet's pb choc.. that is THE best..
I dont like ON at all .. way to watery and thin.. Dyamatize was too sweet (hush!) and have not tried all the whey.

:yeahthat: I concur with all of this! ON is nasty!!

Dymatize is pretty sweet, but has anyone tried any of the 12 hour flavours? I'm wondering if they're sweet too. I'd be curious to hear opinions of the blueberry muffin or the banana nut one!

I have a different PB choc one called DynaWhey- it's cheaper and tastes great... Plus the macros are better vs. PVL... I'll come back with the link later!

I ordered the BSN Lean dessert-- it's my faaaaave, and since it seems impossible to find in Canada still (minus vanilla), I had to get it from the states :(.

You would probably like Muscle Gauge then. (I hate ON too!!) MG is sweetened with stevia, so it's not crazy sweet. AllTheWhey chocolate is awesome.
