question!

I missed my BC pill by two hours this morning. ( I took it two hours late.) Do you think I should use a condom tonight just to be safe or is fine? I'm on my third week. My period is suppose to start in a week. Thank you!!

If it will help your peace of mind, then sure use backup. I've missed it by more than 3 hours before, and no babies. I would think you would be ok. ;)

Many a child was conceived after the parents said "oh, I'm sure we're fine". :p

I'd use one just in case.

I wouldn't worry about it. I've missed two pills in a row and still no babies, although I wouldn't recommend that........

Missing a pill by two hours is very different from missing two days of pills. A two hour difference isn't something to worry about. I personally wouldn't bother using a back up method.

Depending on the pill, you have a 12 hour window.
You have to be more careful if you are taking a micro pill.

Anyway, I usually take my around 6:30a but on the weekend it is more like 7:30a or 8a.

well I ended up not using a condom that night. I've taken every pill exactly on the dot this month except for that one morning which was two hours late.... I'm a day late on my period. :suicide:

how close was your late pill to when you ovulated?

uhh... it was during the third week thats all i remember. I am suppose to get my period on the 4th week.

If it was nearer to the mid to end of the 3rd week, you should be OK. You were probably far enough away from ovulation that you were past your fertile time. Also, if you've been on the pill for a while (like several years) and been very regular taking it, you're probably OK. I hope everything works out.

I just took a pregnancy test, and it came up negative. Maybe it's to early to be completely accurate, but i sure hope it's right!
