Pregancy & belly button rings

I have my belly button pierced & am wondering when I get pregnant & my stomach starts to grow, if I should take it out or will it be okay to leave it in?

You might not be able to leave it in - depends on how far your belly button sticks out. Mine is almost an outie at this point (36 weeks). I don't have a belly button ring, but I would think it could get uncomfortable. You could leave it in until it bugs you and if it never does bother you, then you don't have to worry about :)

...had to take mine out. Now I look like I have two belly buttons - the hole stretched way out and is now a big gross scar... :mad: It's been 5 years!!! I had hoped it would shrink back to nothingness :dry: oh well.

Well, I have my belly button pierced and I am currently prego (29 weeks). I took mine out early on, and I have had it pierced for...6 years or so, so no closing. However, when/if you take it out it will start to collect all kinds of nastiness in the hole, so every other day or so, I just stick a ring through it to "clean" it out so it wont be so difficult later.

I could probably still have one in, but it would look weird. I USED to have an inny, which is now and outy and you can clearly see the part of the piercing that used to be inside my belly button. I have every intention of putting my ring back in when all is said and done. I don't think it will be a problem. :)

I had to take mine out. Then I had gall bladder surgery and they closed up the hole (they go in through the belly button among other places). :dry: :thunder: I miss it. :(

I had to take out my bb ring and it scarred up like a star above my reall belly button. I think once your BB pops it would be uncomfortable and would be hooking on things.

My body seemed to reject my ring and it actually started to push out so I had to take it out. I want to get it done again.

So many times I wish I had never even pierced mine. Now I never want to get pregnant either! hahah :lol:
