When searching for a new gym, one of the guys was promoting the spinning classes.... he said you can burn 2000 calories in 40 min in one of those classes...well I burst out laughing, and said are you sure? :lol: :blink: :unsure: Is this true?? it just sounded like such bull.

You can't burn 2000 calories in 40 minutes using a lethal dose of DNP.

Seriously, this is one of those fundamental limits to biochemistry.
I'd have to check, but I'm pretty sure that 2000kcal in 40 minutes, roughly 50kcal/minute, would be enough to set you on fire.
EDIT: No, scratch that. But it sounded good!

LOL - I have heard up to 800 calories burned, but never 2000. :lol:
