After starting a new program how long does it take before you see results?

Is it true that the scale may not budge but your body composition may be changing?

It really depends on the person, what you're trying to accomplish, and how closely you are sticking to your plan. Some people notice changes in 2-3 weeks, and some it may take longer. A good way I have tracked it is with pics and measurements every few weeks...sometimes you may not see the results until you look at the progress pics.

And yes, the scale may not move that much, but your body comp can definitely change :)

When I first starting working with Thunder, I dropped about 9 lbs in a little over a week (water weight). Then my actual "weight" loss stalled, but I continued to lose inches for months afterward. My clothes began fitting better, even though I saw no change on the scale.

So, yeah, don't judge your progress by pounds lost alone.

I've noticed results already after 7 days of clean eating. My jawline, neck, clavicle, shoulders and biceps/triceps are a little more defined. My shorts are fitting better! While doing reverse lunges this morning I could tell that my thighs are getting leaner. While it will be a while before I can see my abs, I can tell that my upper abs aren't too far away from beginning to show (I hope!)

Previously, I had only been having about 4 - 4.5 consecutive clean days and then I'd ruin everything on the weekend. That was getting me nowhere FAST. Thunder's question asking why people can't stick to their diet really got me thinking and I decided "no more excuses" and I'm SOOOOO happy that I did! I can't wait to see how I look after 30 days of clean eating!

I noticed in 2 weeks. However, if I were to go by weight - I would have been disappointed. The tape measure on the other hand has been my friend!

Take pics and write down all your measurements! You will be surprised and encouraged by the difference you see in 2 weeks!

Focus on measurements, how clothes fit, what others notice in you, etc. Do NOT focus on the scale. It tells you very little about what's happening.
