As I have mentioned before I am going on holidays in July and was planning on eating around maintenace, as I have been dieting since Feb.
My question in , will I have to increase slowly 10%, then another 10% or can I simply move from my deficient into maintenance for a week or two?
Thanks
I believe it's increasing it closely until you hit maintenance. Thunder has it under his Q&A (2nd question) that he linked in a previous post:

you could also go straight to it. i did mantainance for a week. it would have been hard to raise it otherwise.

Any bad effects like fat gain since you increased it to maintenance instantly? I agree, it takes a while to increase 10% or so incrementally, which is the part I don't like.

I have read that article before, but I guess I mean when the deficient isn't really big to start with. Blondell - have you noticed improvement since maintenance?
