This may come as a shock. I had just logged off my hotmail account and saw something about how to get that 6pack and thought it'd be interesting to read what it said. . .

Hello! 2 sentences about nutrition :shutit: For all to see, don't worry so much about your diet, and cut back on the weight lifting, instead swtich the 7 hours of weights for 7 extra hours of cardio.
I wouldn't usually put something bitchy like this up, but I can't close my mouth or stop shaking my head.

I went on the weight loss message board after reading that article.
I shouldn't have.
There's a dude on there advising people to do 1.5 hours of cardio (I'm assuming per day) to lose weight.
What an idiot.

Someone just posted on there that she is eating 700-1000 calories a day and can't lose weight. There aren't any replies yet, but it will be interesting to see what they say.
I have a friend who works out like crazy but can't lose weight. I keep telling her to look at her diet and add some weight training. She can't break that thinking that you must do 8,000 hours of cardio a week. :D

That weight_lifter dude is a complete and utter idiot. He recommends doing hours of cardio and tells people to go buy a BMR testing machine on ebay to figure out their calorie totals for the day. I wonder if he is selling them and this is his round about way of making money.

The current recommendation for weightloss is 90 minutes of aerobic activity every day, per the ADA.
Seems crazy
