I dont get it, I just switched BCPs last month, from ortho tri cyclen to Demulen, and now its Friday night of the placebo pills.....(I start month two of these kind on Sunday) and STILL have not gotten my period....should I be nervous? I cant stop thinking about pregnancy.....is it possible Im just stressing too much or should I take a test?? Im so nervous because Im used to having breakthrough bleeding, then getting my period, hence why I switched to these....now its been nothing for over a month... :(

If it would ease your mind, take a test. Sometimes when you switch pills things can get a bit wacky. But I know you've been stressed all week about this, so just take a test sweetie. You'll feel better. ((HUGS))

Don't be scared. Like I said your cycle is probably just temporarily messed up. Did you start the demulen pack exactly when you were supposed to start your next pack of tricyclen? No missed pills right? If you did everything your were supposed to do correctly, then there's only a very slim chance that you're preggers. Does your partner(for lack of a better work here since I don't know your marital status) know that you're worried? How does he feel about this?

If you didn't miss any from the during the switch you are most likely fine.

take the test, they are cheap and have more then once eased my mind. Also stress can make you late too, mine has gone away for months because of stress. Take the test you'll feel better but it does sound normal, I've switched a few times with no problem and my body has been a little nuts. I had my period every two weeks for 4 months before it adjusted to my new pills, not fun

In the past, every time I switched pills or went off/went back on, I never get my period that first or sometimes even second month. I wouldn't worry about it.
