I have done an elimination diet for other health issues. Not easy, but it is only for a short time. I was allowed raw nuts on my diet and that is when I discovered I have an oral allergy to some raw nuts and the related butters.

Yes, this article laid it out well and explained the need to be systematic about it, which is overlooked far too often IMO.

stomach problems may be due to the organs near the site of the pain, such as the stomach or gallbladder in the upper abdomen, or the appendix in the lower abdomen. In women, stomach problems may be related to the menstrual cycle or to infection or other conditions of the reproductive organs.

I did an elimination diet (I actually got tested to see what foods bothered me) and I did not eat any of those foods for 12 weeks. It was difficult but the difference it made was borderline shocking. Not only did my stomach feel better but fat loss ramped up very fast. I highly recommend an elimination diet, especially if your fat loss has been slow or your stomach bothers you.

What kind of test did you do?

I did the Leap/MRT blood test.

I did the Leap/MRT blood test.

I did that one too. Did you reintroduce foods after the 12 weeks?

Yes, the diet was tough because I was doing the Leap MRT elimination diet the same time as the candida diet because of a yeast issue I was having. I am now back to eating a more regular diet...although I am still watching sugar very closely.

I recommend that test to anyone...the results were fantastic for me.

Also, consider hypochlorhydria. It's a pretty common condition that causes all digestion issues that gets overlooked. I take Betaine HCl with almost every meal and it has changed my life.

I've always struggled with digestion issues.. kind of an abuser when it comes to all the OTC probiotics. I have taken out all dairy, but some days I still have issues, So I'm not sure if that's it.

This elimination diet is something I need to do.
