Not much is said about the diet or the experiement other than 100% commitment for 8 weeks is involved. It sounds interesting though. It sounds like he is trying to prove a theory, so I would assume the entree's best fatloss hopes are in mind. That with frequent cheating will definite lure many.

With my luck?? Uhm, no thank you..I swear I have the worst luck on the face of the earth, if they were selling 100 lottery tickets and I bought 99 of them, they would draw the one I didn't buy. With my luck I would gain 15-25 lbs..try getting that off in your 40's.Not pretty.
I won't even mention the protesting my guts would do in relation to pumping the garbage into it.I do well to have ice cream once every 4 months.

So it's cookie-cutter and weird, is that what you're getting at, T?

I like this part:
"Starting at dinner, forget your dietary guidelines. Eat the foods you crave and don't be apprehensive. When you're no longer hungry, stop eating. Should you get hungry again, eat what you want. Repeat this process until you go to sleep."

But did you read where he was giving guidlines for the dieting days? For those maintaining under 3k cals/day, we're supposed to cut 1,500 cals/day and only have 10% of our dieting cals come from fat. Even with my relatively high maintenence cals, I'd be at PSMF-levels. Somewhere in the 800cal range. And the cardio and lifting recommendations aren't the PSMF minimilast-style, either. Two free meals a week isn't worth that...certainly not to sign up for 8wks of it.

It sounds VERY similar to a PSMF, except with the addition of carbs. And if you only have two "free" nights a week, chances are A) you won't have enough of an appetite to eat enough to offset the caloric deficit you are creating the other 5 days.
I just wonder if this is a "weight loss" diet or a "fat loss" diet...

Joel Marion isn't always the brightest when it comes to diet and training recs. He tends to rely more on flash and outrageous claims; the typical T-mag tard.

Yeah, I laughed when I saw it.
He's a T-mag man. eh. I did a program of his and it almost killed me.
