Hello!
I've popped over here from Sioux. I"ve loved reading Erik's posts and moreover, the posts of his clients and their experiences.
I'm a fitness competitor and my story is SO similar to many that i've read...... crazy amounts of cardio (even in offseason), weight fluctuations (the same 40 lbs over and over) and every year i compete my body is more resilient to diet and training. And i bust my ass. I actually injured my knee a week ago and i've been forced to sit (literallly hahah) and think very critically about my overall health. I"m constantly fighting with my physique. I"m burned out from over training. And with fitness, i am trying to learn new skills for routine so that added training and plyometric conditioning on top of regular weight training and then a pile of cardio, and on a low cal low carb diet... I just can't be in this cycle anymore.
Phew. That felt really good to say. Maybe i've been in denial LOL.
Time for some much needed changes. I look forward to reading many posts on this board and also, love the smaller more 'intimate' communities :-)
