Do they help with losing body fat or just with giving you some energy?
If yes, what are the best ones out there?

I think most people here have had much success without them. If I were you, I would do it without.

I've used them with success in the past, but really, my diet and training were dialed in as well, so hard to separate the actual affect. I would say spend that money on higher quality protein and food.

In my experience (and I've tried a ton of them) I think they help control appetite more than the actually accelerate fat loss.

100% agreed.
Can be helpful if your diet and training is spot on.
Otherwise a waste of $$.
EC (not that most fat burners contain this anymore) can be useful with prolonged low calorie dieting, due to its positive effects on SNS activity (ie. helps maintain/lessen/normalize the drop that occurs with low cal dieting).

Thanks, sounds like I'm not at the point in my diet etc. that they would be helpful yet.

re:EC. Can I just use my morning coffee as my 'C' along w/ ephedrine?? Or does it have to be ephedrine/caffine pills?
How about just ephedrine alone for an afternoon dose if I've already worked out in the AM and am just looking to suppress hunger not for training energy?

The recommended dosage of C with 25 mg of E is 200mg. It is highly doubtful that you could drink enough coffee to take in 200 mg of caffeine. I think a regular cup of coffee only has around 60-80 mg of caffeine. That may even be a high estimate.
In all honestly though, I'm not sure how the two work together and if you NEED to 200 mg of caffeine. Maybe someone else here knows.

I thought coffee was enough? I thought 2 cups of coffee had 200mg of caffine?

A cup of coffee has more than that. If you make it strong, it may have mor ethan 200mg. :)

I've taken it w/ coffee and have felt the same energy from it as when I take a caffeine tab.
