Hi. I am new to the site and Erik. I started this week(today was my second day) and so far it's been good. I competed in figure last year in 2 NPC shows and did not place very well in my class. I got pretty bummed after working so terribly hard and having women place who just entered 2 weeks ago and didn't really do any prep..at least that is what they were telling the others in line. Who really knows right?!
Anyway, I finally accepted that I wasn't genetically blessed with very good symmetry(short torso/long legs) for competing. I enjoy the process though. I returned to lifting heavy and added probably 8-10 pounds of lean mass since last June along with extra body fat. My goal now is to lose the BF to see what the added muscle does to my symmetry.
I like Erik's philosophy so here I am after a long wait:). Looking forward to the journey once again.....
