I just started taking it a few days ago and was just wondering if anyone else is on it? I've tried to doing a search on the some health forums but nothing I have found is too recent. It seems like there are a lot of people a few years ago that had a lot of issues with this BC.

Thanks ladies. I was reading that women were experience extreme moodiness and anxiety while on it. Also bad headaches and nausea were side affects.
The good things I heard about it was that it helped clear acne and that length of periods were a lot shorter.
Anyone experience any of these things?

I've been on Yasime for a couple of years now. I like it. I'm lessbloated on it, my periods are WAY shorter and yes, my skin cleared up.

I've not experience the bad headaches, nausea, anxiety or moodiness.
The only side effect I've noticed (but this may just be in my head) is I feel like it makes my cravings more intense. But like I said, this could be in my head.
It did help my complexion & it also helps make my periods less painful. :)

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience with this at all...got migraines, broke out...my mood swings were insane. I gave it three months, and finally my hubby begged me to change it. I'm now on Alesse and that has been much better for me. I do have one friend on Yasmin who loves it. Like anything...it will be different for different people ;)

Yeah, you can't really base an opinion on birth control pills on any one person's reaction to it...people react differently as it's hormonal. I'm thankful for this thread though...I start Yasmin next month. I'm hoping this will be the one that works for me!
Horible for me. Horrible. mind you my body doesnt like the b.c.p.

I'm on Yasmin and they help me with my cramps...they aren't as bad, since I've been on and yes my periods are shorter also.

I was on it after I lost my first son and became pregnant despite taking it correctly. My body just doesn't do well on BCP though. I didn't have any horrible side effects, though I did on other pills.

I'm on Yasmin and I like it... the only side effect I have is nausea... The first week of a new pill pack I feel a little sick to my tummy but after that it's okay. I've only been on this pill for 3 months so this side effect may go away. I was thinking about taking it at night instead of the morning to see if that makes any difference. Other than that it's the best BCP that I've been on so far.

Been on it for about a year and the only thing I find is that I hold on to more water.

I hate bc. But I have to start taking it to control my endometriosos. The doc wanted to put me on Yasmin, but he is putting me on Nortrel instead. I may just not take any of it at all. I get really crazy on bc.

I was afraid of that. I started off paying $10, and am currently paying $15 for my current BC. I knew it would be more expensive, but I was hoping only around $20...not $25-$30. Guess I'll find out exactly how much in a week...thanks, ladies.
