Announcing: I had a baby boy! He was 9 pounds, 4 ounces and is healthy and beautiful :love: . He has lots of white-blond hair and cute button lips.
Things are crazy busy, as expected. It is hard to find two seconds to get to the computer. The planned c-section went as planned :) We went in at
5:45am and the babe was out by 8:34. I was more freaked out than usual becasue I seemed to have alot of time to think about it. Plus the doc missed the first time with the spinal and I had weird shooting "shocks" down my left leg and side :blink: When I was finally frozen things went fast. The OB started to pull him out and the first thing he said was, "this baby is much bigger than I thought" They pulled and tugged and we saw a sweet face and heard a big cry. It was amazing and hard to describe. My husband cut the cord and we got to hang out as they sewed me up. I told the OB to do a good job as I want a flat stomach when all was done. He actually said, "well you have no body fat down here so shouldn't be a problem" (where was my tape recorder :clap: ) I remembered to ask to see the placenta -I forgot the other two times and was curious as to what it looked like. Interesting........ So, we are now a family of 5 and it is great.
