The SeaBand wrist bands. They helped with my nausea and allowed me to have a little bit of an appetite. I still just ate whatever I could (no huge meals), but at least I could eat something.

Not easily!! I tried ginger tea, wrist bands, and anything else I could think of, but nothing really worked. I lived on chicken noodle cup o soup and lemonade. Something about sour things made me feel better. You just kinda have to experiment to see what settles and what doesn't. I always heard crackers were great, but they tasted like dry chalkdust and made me vomit. But I always had to have something light on my tummy. If my tummy was empty, I was dry heaving. I think making it through morning sickness really depends on the individual. Heck I have friends who didn't even feel nauseous once and I've had friends who were still puking 9 months later in the delivery room.

Put food beside your bed at night and eat it when you wake up to pee or before you get outta bed. My husband would set up the "snack bar" at night with crackers, juice, green apples, bananas etc and I would pick and choose when I woke up. It helped a little. Try to avoid getting tired as that makes it worse. I also drank gingerale from the health food store (although I could not step into the store as the smell cause instant heaving  ) Good luck and it will go away!

What about meds?
My neighbor is taking meds to combat her N&V.

I was sick the first 8 weeks w/London. I did eventually figure out it was the prenatal vitamin making me sick, and after switching that, I was fine. While I was still sick however, I ate a lot of lemon yogurt and drank a lot of lemonade.

What do the wrist bands do?
They have little plastic pieces that sit on a pressure point on your wrist and this is supposed to suppress nausea. It worked well for me. There are medicines that you can take, but I wanted to avoid taking any medication unless I really needed to and the wrist bands worked well.
I tried eating something before I got out of bed in the morning, but that didn't work for me.

My SIL was sick for 6 months. She had an IV for several months and tried several different drugs. At about 7 months pregnant she found a drug that worked- finally. She was overweight when she got pregnant (by maybe 50-60 pounds) and is still net negative weight from when she got pregnant (and is due right about now). If it's really bad there are definitely drugs to use...

If you live in Canada, ask your OB or midwife to prescribe Diclectin for you (http://www.duchesnay.com/diclectin.html). It really helps to take the edge off....you may still feel nauseous (I did), but no vomitting. The only other thing that worked for me is time, unfortunately. At 33 weeks, I am FINALLY nausea free (I hope I didn't just jinx myself!!!), but I'm sure yours won't last that long. I took Diclectin from 9 weeeks to 14/15 weeks. It's pretty expensive, so hopefully your health insurance plan will cover it (mine did).

I was really sick the first few three months with all of my pg. (vomiting several times a day). Not much really helped. I liked salted watermelon or grapefruit. I sipped gatorade (suggested by my ob) to keep hydrated. My ob gave me some suppositories to help with the vomiting, but they made me sleepy.

I tried to keep my tummy full with crackers, dairy, and toast. I was lucky not to have vomiting, just sour stomach.

For me I had to keep food in my stomach at all times. No sweets , carbonated bev., juices, etc, stuff that will just raise your stomach acid level. I also had to be good at sensing when I would be hungry again, so I could head it off before it came on too bad.
