After doing a search and googling this topic, I am still a little confused. In a nutshell, what is the primary purpose for using creatine. In one article I read it said it was beneficial for reducing body fat, and in another, it didn't say anything about helping with fat loss. My goal is to lose body fat (right now I am 20% although it wasn't a very accurate method of measuring). So, what's the low down...would it be beneficial for fat loss.
Thanks for the help.
Oh, also, what would be a good (cheap) brand to buy.

It does not reduce bodyfat.
It's primary purpose is performance, so it will help you in your training sessions. Your ability to do reps with a given weight will increase, so it will have positive effects on strength development, and potentially muscle mass.

Are there any crazy side effects to consuming creatine. Would it be considered a stimulant?

Ok. Well, thanks. I knew it was too good to be true. Thunder, is there any other supplement that might help speed the fat loss up? I feel like my fat loss has been a slow process.

I hear creatine makes you sexier, and if you take enough of it, you can make peoples' heads explode.

One time after I took creatine, I hid out in the desert for 40 days until I saw the feathered snake ride across the red moon.

Honestly, not really.
If your progress is stalling, look to your diet first. It likely needs some tweaking.

I'll tell you for the low low price of $49.99.
That's American money, in case you're Canadian and try to pass off that monopoly money they use.

Yeah I read an article about DNP. I don't think that is what she is looking for exactly  Errr maybe it is, however the risks may outweigh the benefits

Ha! Have you been watching your USD$ compared to ours lately? Yours is the one that is quickly becoming monopoly money. It'll only be a few months before we'll be kicking your asses.

Hey - about Thunder's note to check your diet - really do this closely. I was feeling the same way about slow fat loss and realized I confuse 100 calories in "incidentals"/day - which I didn't account for. That's 700 a week and a 1/2 pound every two-three weeks potentially....more of a big deal ;)
